Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to join our EMEA Legal Team. The Legal Manager will report to a Senior Legal Counsel and will be responsible for leading the drafting and negotiation of high-value, cross-border commercial agreements (mainly client contracts), including data processing agreements. The role also involves providing continuous strategic legal advice to senior stakeholders and supporting various legal matters within an international environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned lawyer who can work independently and take full ownership of complex negotiations and legal matters.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end negotiation of a wide variety of international commercial contracts for a broad range of clients, including regional and/or global contracts for providing customer contact services, global sourcing agreements, and consultancy agreements. All drafting and negotiations will be conducted in English.

• Draft, review, and negotiate data privacy agreements and other data privacy-related documents and contracts.

• Review and negotiate NDAs.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on legal and contractual matters across multiple jurisdictions.

• Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as supporting different group projects, depending on business requirements and needs.

Competencies & professional background

• Fully qualified attorney with LLM or international diploma 
  Personal / Technical Skills:

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in French, German, or another European language is a strong asset.

• Experience in handling high-stakes legal negotiations independently and managing complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, preferably in technology-driven environments.

• Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679).

• Over 6 years of broad experience as an in-house legal counsel or external lawyer in a similar multinational company or any international law firm (such as PwC or Deloitte).

• Experience working with legal tech solutions, including contract lifecycle management, e-signature tools, and video conferencing tools.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, sales teams, and clients.
