Global Strategic Account Manager

Job summary

We are seeking a Global Strategic Account Manager to join our Global Client Solutions Team, reporting directly to the VP of Client Solutions – Global Account CEO. In this role, you will lead the account strategy and drive the growth and development of Teleperformance’s global book of business with the client.

Main responsibilities

Develop and Maintain Client Relationships:

  • Establish, nurture, and expand a broad network of trusted relationships with key stakeholders within the Client’s organization through high-impact meetings and social engagements.
  • Act as a strategic bridge across time zones, geographies, languages, and cultures, ensuring Teleperformance (TP) is represented effectively both virtually and in-person.

Client Strategy & Business Growth:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the Client’s strategic roadmap, priorities, and evolving needs, including new KPIs, services, and functionalities, and align TP’s strategy accordingly.
    Identify, analyze, and communicate client requirements to internal TP stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
  • Monitor market trends (Client, competitors, regulatory landscape) to assess potential risks and opportunities, driving actionable insights.
  • Proactively identify business expansion opportunities and collaborate with TP teams to capitalize on growth prospects.

Business Development & Commercial Management:

  • Influence Client decision-makers within the Buying Center to increase the likelihood of new business awards.
  • Represent TP’s service offerings, capabilities, and innovations to ensure alignment with Client needs, including technology, greenfield site options, and transformation capabilities.
  • Drive tight commercial management of P&L, budgets, forecasts, and invoicing cycles, ensuring financial accuracy and accountability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure full compliance while managing contract modifications in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Transformation:

  • Support cross-country harmonization efforts by working closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Bid Management, SAM, Technology, and Country Teams.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by advocating for automation, process improvements, and best practices.
  • Conceptualize and execute innovation and continuous improvement frameworks to drive transformation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential escalations, ensuring prompt issue resolution while minimizing business impact.

Competencies & professional background

  • 5+ years of experience in a BPO or business environment, with expertise in consulting, outsourcing, client management, or business solutions.
  • Candidates must have a degree in a relevant business discipline or hold a professional qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills to lead both client and internal stakeholder groups at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience in advertising management, advertising campaign management, marketing, or sales is beneficial.
  • Strong and confident presentation skills.
  • Proven success in designing winning solutions.
  • Working knowledge of PC technologies and IT business applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding and high-intensity work environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on fact-based decision-making.
  • Strong methodological skills; certification in COPC, Six Sigma, or similar is beneficial.
  • Experience leading cross-country, high-impact projects.
  • Ability to see both the big picture and critical details.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, results-driven, and highly dynamic environments.
  • Ability to consistently meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proven capability to drive change and develop strategies for managing it.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to create business cases, prepare compelling proposals, and deeply understand client operations and business needs.
  • A strong sense of accountability for results and continuous learning.
